Detailed Design for the Green Line, Doha Metro
The Doha Metro is a rapid transit system serving Doha, Qatar When completed, it will comprise 211.9 km of track across four lines and 85 stations. It will form an integral part of the larger Qatar Rail network, which will include long-distance high-speed rail across Qatar and local people mover services within Doha.
The Green Line project consists of 18.5 km of twin bored tunnels and six underground stations, built at a depth of 20 m. This project extends from Msheireb (Central Station) through Education City to Al Rayyan.
This project is essential to the success of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and a key contributor to Qatar National Vision 2030.
