Beijing–Shijiazhuang–Wuhan high-speed railway and associated works
Construction of a 1,193 km railway line connecting the Chinese capital, Beijing, to Wuhan in central China. Given the challenging soil conditions and the strict settlement control requirements of high-speed railways, most of the line is constructed on viaducts. The following sections can be identified:
- Sub-grade works: 268 km
- Bridges and viaducts: 874 km
- Tunnels: 51 km
To facilitate project execution, site offices have been established in Shijiazhuang (Hebei province), Zhengzhou (Henan province), and Dawu (Hubei province). A team of up to 40 international and national specialists has been providing technical consultation for construction implementation with a primary focus on the construction of ballastless tracks. For quality assurance, the consultant team has guided local site supervision teams on technical requirements and conducted regular site inspections.
