Shangqiu–Hefei–Hangzhou high-speed railway

High-speed railway Shangqiu - Hefei- Hangzhou

The Shangqiu – Hefei – Hangzhou Passenger Dedicated Line is designed for 350 km/h and passes through flat terrain interwoven with rivers. In the Hefei and Fuyang section, the line passes through the suburbs of major cities. In this area, extremely long viaducts have been constructed. These span numerous channels and public infrastructure. Key focuses of site supervision were protecting public infrastructure in urban areas and ensuring environmental protection.

Bridge construction:

  • Two major viaducts: The Taihei super-large bridge (approx. 14,066 m) and Fuyang super-large bridge (approx. 6,265 m) with prefabricated girders installed using a launching system.
  • Two girder prefabrication yards for 24 m and 32 m spans.
  • Thirteen cast-in-situ continuous girder bridges using cantilever construction, maximum span: 72 + 128 + 72 m
  • Two cast-in-situ semi-integral continuous girder bridges with steel arch spans, with spans of 85 + 150 + 85 m and 88 + 168 + 88 m.
